On 14 May 1948, Israel will celebrates the anniversary of its creation. Popular wisdom claims, "Israel is the only democratic state in the Middle East". From a personal & bombastic stand point, Only if you are willing to forget the concentration camps of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the racist nature of Jewish laws. Laws that define the core foundations of the state, and are implemented in the constitution. Israel is not a secular democratic state. It represents a militaristic-theocratic carbon copy of late segregated South Africa.
Israelis should remember that flatterers are the worst type of enemies.
